What We Provide

  • Our promise to you...

Providing quality care for you and your child
    • We offer a learning environment that is child initiated. The learning experiences invite the children to use their senses and explore in a safe, comfortable and secure environment. Literacy and numeracy are firmly embedded in everything we do and we support children to learn through play. We support children’s and families’ individual needs and have access to support services in the local community.
    • We provide care for children 6 weeks to 5 years. Refer to the children’s groupings page for more information on each age group.
    • All meals and snacks are provided at the centre. We offer breakfast from 7:45am, fruit from 9:00am, lunch from 11:00am, afternoon tea from 2:00pm and late snack from 4:00pm.
    • We offer play based learning through which children organise and make sense of their worlds as they engage with their friends, educators and the resources we provide.
    • We have experienced educators with Certificate 3 and Diploma qualifications, Early Childhood degree gained through university. Our educators have a variety of skills and experience that they bring to teach, play and engage with children and families.
    • We value the involvement of our families as part of the centre culture. This can be through fund raising or being a committee. The Management Corner page provides you with more detail.
    • As a community children’s centre we are not-for-profit meaning all funds are invested back into the centre to directly benefit children and families.
    • We pride ourselves on providing a natural environment where your children can explore, take risks and play in safe stimulating surroundings.
    • We are co-located next door to Happy Valley Kindergarten. Children are able to attend our centre before kindergarten commences and we will take them to the kindy and at the end of the session the kindy teachers walk the children back to child care. This is charged as a full day of child care.
