NAIDOC Week

The children at HVCCC enjoyed celebrating NAIDOC week, immersing themselves in Aboriginal culture, exploring the Aboriginal history and celebrating the achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. Children were offered a wide variety of experiences to develop their understanding of Aboriginal culture and to explore this year’s theme of ‘Heal Country’. Our Cook prepared the children some native Australian flavoured meals using bush spices such as lemon myrtle and bush tomato.
