Hello, my name is Amanda, I have been working at Happy Valley Community Children’s Centre since March 2009. I completed my Diploma in 2013 and I have worked across all the rooms in the Centre. I was made permanent in the Kinder Room in 2019. I am passionate about working with children, watching them grow and develop and assisting them in their learning journey. I enjoy providing many different activities for the children including sensory activities and craft where children have the opportunity to express themselves creatively. Working in a community-based Centre is important to me as we provide an extended family feel which assists the children to settle into a new and unfamiliar environment. I look forward to getting to know the children and families.
